The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

I was surprised at what a tangled mystery this was and enjoyed trying to guess who was who and did what. I also enjoyed learning a little more about life in Barcelona during and after their civil war. My favorite character was definitely Fermino - he stole my heart with his light heartedness and courage, even after all the torture he had survived.



One thing I didn't like was some of the language and sexual references. That's just not my cup of tea.
