Oh what do you do in the summertime...
We play in the water a lot - and they run around naked. Lucas got a litte kiddie pool for his birthday last month, but the poor guy rarely gets to splash in it. Soren and his big kid friends usually take it over and Lucas can't get near it.
Don't feel too sorry for him, because he finds plenty of other ways to have fun. For example, climbing on the kitchen table any chance he gets, running straight for the street when mom turns her back, sneaking into the bathroom to play in the toilet, climbing to the top of the couch and then sliding down it, eating sand or rocks or dog food, etc...
This little man is jumping straight from baby days into toddlerhood. He surprises us every day with new words. This is what we've heard him say so far:
- Quack, quack
- NO no no no no
- Leo (Ee-oh)
- Thank you (dank oo)
- cheese
- ma ma ma ma
- da da da da
- Hi
- Hello
- Bye Bye
- Yay!!!!
- Yucky (ucky)
- Weeeeeee!
- Grrrrrr (my frustration sound or Soren's wild animal growl)
- Shhhhh (My shushing sound or any object that makes a whooshing sound)
