Dirt
Oh, we LOVE LOVE LOVE bouncing balls at our house. Especially big, red ones.
This picture is obviously not from today, since we actually were able to bust out tshirts and shorts with some sunshine. However, it is from last week. The weather has been so wet and cold - until today.
Sunny days are so much more fun than rainy, cloudy days. Today, it was non-stop fun from play-dates, to the splash park, home for gardening, and then back to the park with Uncle Ryan.
Soren is such a boy. It makes me laugh when he proves that over and over again. For example, despite all the fun times, the highlight of his day was eating dirt.
I was busy shoveling to expand my garden lot. I turned around to check on Soren and found him sitting in a pile of dirt, shovel in one hand and the other hand was putting dirt into his mouth. He was as happy as a lark.
Playing in dirt is the best, cheapest toy ever. Hopefully, he likes the sandbox once seeds are planted and he can't dig in the garden anymore. Maybe I'll have to dig up another little plot just for him.
Oh - the best part of him eating dirt is that he had just finished a popcycle right before. The stickiness of it made the dirt stick ALL over his face. Oh camera, why are you not always hanging around my neck.
