More Leo pictures and a story about something else

After doing a lot of the above (playing with and wearing out Leo), we get the perks of below - Leo cuddling on the couch or sleeping like the dead. Most of the time, we join him. He wears us out just as much as we wear him. Good thing he's so darn cute.

Now I have a good story to share. I work in a building with a lot of people, most of whom I don't know, but everyday Miz Liz visits with me. Where the rest of us work in offices, she works on all four floors of the building - taking the trash, cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming the carpet with a vacume cleaner that looks like the ghostbusters' packs. Yet she always takes a few minutes to chat and smile - bringing cheer with her.

Miz Liz definitely has the gift of gab. While she works, I've learned all about her family and a little of her history. She's a single mom of three, who went through some tough times growing up. Yet she's turned her life around and now works three jobs to save for a home of her own. Yep, that's right - three jobs. She works full time cleaning my building and then spends her evenings and weekends working events at the Civic Center and some how she has time to clean homes.

The other day at work, I passed Miz Liz in the hallway. She asked me how I was and I quickly replied "fine," about to hurry off. But she had a gleam in her eye I hadn't seen before. SO I stopped and asked how she was.

"Oh, I'm just fine," she said. "I've had some goodness happen to me." Miz Liz explained that her children's grandmother had passed away, which was hard on all of them, but in the will Miz Liz was left a 5 bedroom 3 bath house in Savannah. Overnight, the dream she's been working towards for years was given as a gift.

Isn't that wonderful? It is so rewarding to see someone who is living such a good life, working hard to raise her children right and provide more for them, receive such a great blessing. I hope she can pick and choose her jobs now. She mentioned cutting back on keeping all three and focusing more on her cleaning business.

If anyone deserves it, Miz Liz does.
